WHERE THERE'S SMOKE, THERE'S POLLUTION?

Anybody who reads the newspapers, or magazines, or listens to the news on the radio or television knows about airborne pollution.

For tomorrow, let's bring photographs of factories, fireplaces, barbecues, and anything else that puts smoke into the air.

We can try to determine what kind of stuff is coming out into our air. We now have some laws that try to make factory owners monitor their smoke-stacks, and to put filters on them.

Do we have any problems with air pollution where we live? If we do, let's make a list of them.

Why do we care what comes out of chimneys?

What can we do about it?
