WHAT DOES SOAP DO IN WATER?

We have a glass bowl filled with cold water. Once the water is calm, we will sprinkle some baby powder or fine talcum powder onto the surface so we can better see the results of our experiment.

We'll put a small piece of soap in the center of the container, and watch what happens.

What happens? Write four sentences to tell what happened, and then write four more to tell why it happened.

It could be the start of a soap opera!
